I have tutorials in the field of biology, of which there is a related dictionary using a dynamic page.

Example, I am doing a page on genetic engineering. I want to add terms within the .asp dictionary to be included in the page, in the hope it will add prominence to my keywords related to the page

i.e. the page mentiones cloning
so - it will have a link to dictionary terms related to this

i.e. dictionary.asp?Term=cloning

hopefully this will add relevance to the page and add to my infrastructure

My question is, would I be doing harm by adding such obvious keywords to my page? I intend to put them below the title of my tutorial pages, i.e. title of tutorial page and just below a link to the dictionary terms

could i be overdoing it considering that the keywords may already be mentioned enough in the page, and I am swaying the scales to the point where Im using the word too much?

I think you catch the drift of what Im doing and why :)

any info related from your experiences site makers mucho appreciated ;)

IMHO anything can be overdone. In regard to keywords I think there is a threshold that you should not cross over.

This is what I do.

Take a look at the competision for the specefic keyword.

Try to hit a keywortdensity that resembles the top ranking page closely.

Tweak it around changing a little at every update, try for an extra keyword link or try to get more promenence in your keyword/keywordlinks

Hope this helps you a little
