Question on Keywords in Meta Tags

Our website is <snip>. I have a question on the title tag. Up to now we used keywords for our title, someone just informed us that our title contains too many keywords and is considered as keyword stuffing. His recommendation was to put up only our main keyword in the title tag per page. I would appreciate to get more feedback on this issue.

there is no url dropping allowed on this forum but i believe what you have been told to be correct.

you should only target one or two key phrases per page.

you can then optimise that page for the selected keywords and create other pages with additional keywords that you wish to target.

1) We're not supposed to post our URLs or request site reviews here. (It's against the forum rules.)

2) That title on your home page does look like keyword stuffing, but--more important--it isn't user-friendly. If you were searching Google for widgets, would you click on the listing that says "Widgets - National Widget Corp." or the one that says "widgets whatsits thingamabobs gadgets doohickeys knick-knacks"?

3) Are you sure that you meant to post your question in the AdSense forum?

Firstly you're in the incorrect forum, well, you were:-)

Secondly, whomsoever constructed your index page needs shooting...1.8 mb index page!

Not all your potential visitors are on broadband you know.

Optirex,

Thanx for the feedback. What is the maximum size recommended?
