I've been wanting to do something with all the keyword phrases in my stats for a long time...and I guess the time is now...but I am kinda stuck.
There are lots of keyword phrases people use to find my site, so far this month lets say I have over a thousand. Should my approach be to create pages specifically for these keywords? If so how should I pick the most profitable ones? I don't have the time to create 1000+ new pages.
Or do I just create a new site w/ all the keywords...does anyone have exp. creating a new site with keyword gathered from their current site?
I'm totally new to playing with this part of my log file, so any exp.d tips ideas would be greatly welcomed.

In my mind, any phrase that is drawing 20 - 30 referals a month deserves it's own page if possible. If you are doing evergreen content that doesn't need to be updated often that might not be too hard. If you are working with time sensitive content that needs to be updated frequently it might be harder unless you have a good source for current content. With time sensitive content the pages themselves can attract content submissions in some cases.
Sometimes it's possible to build a page that hits multiple similar phrases as an intermediate step to building pages for each phrase. This can help each of the individual phrases draw more traffic and eventually they'll get to the point they warrant their own page. At that point the intermediate page becomes more or less an index page with links to those new pages. That means you need to plan very carefully for that type of growth.
Can you give me an example of how you would optimize this type of page?
Lets say the 5 keyword phrases you can group are...
daytona beach bars
rockys bike shop
map of daytona
palm trees inn
live music in daytona
All the phrases have to do with Daytona Beach.
