This was taken from a recent directory service. Is it true? If so why?
Keep in mind that the worst thing you can do with your keyword and description meta tags is to use the exact same text for them throughout your web site

Why, would you use the exact text for descriptions on pages that are different? Each page should have a different description and keywords that reflect that pages content. It would be better to have NO description, than one that was not correct. Having the same information on various pages will make your site look like some kind of templete and I'm pretty sure that's not something you would want to do.

Silly question I agree. But the way the programmer has all the .htm files in a CommonShell.php file I have no choice for the time being. I suppose I'll leave out the heading on every page and pray that the SE's will pick up on content and url's?
