Want to change the keywords

Have realised one keywords out of th two that I am promoting is not right

I have been promoting my home page with three keywords. Two of them are a part of my domain name. One of them, I have realized of late, is not the right choice(unfortunately it is part of my domain name). Can I replace it with other and start promoting it afresh? Please let me know if I can replace it with another word. Since its also a part of my domain name, the consiquences worry me. This site of mine has been around for about 4 months now.

Hi, purva. You can do anything you want - it's your site : ) Yes, go ahead and change the word. I'm assuming you mean it's the name of your site? The name of your site and your domain name do not have to match. And then start working on building more content and expanding your keyword list. Godd luck!

The domain name isn't really that important from an SEO standpoint.
