Different keywords on each page?

Hi all,

I'm creating my first proper site with SEO (and £!) in mind which will be based on a database/php so I need to get things right from the start as I'm not too great with coding right now.

My site is based on widgets, offering green widgets, blue widgets, red widgets etc (possible 1000s of different combinations).

I know that the title of each page should be unique, but what about the keywords? It won't be a major job to add (e.g) red widgets into the keywords of the (e.g) red widgets page..but it's still pointless if it won't do any good.

Thoughts? :)

Hey, pumpkinHead. I'm asuuming you mean the keyword meta tag? It won't hurt to put it in there. Make sure you add a meta description tag while you're at it. Like the moniker, btw;-)

Be sure to read Marcia's post, msg#2, and note that page content needs to work together with your chosen keywords and page titles for each page. Meta keywords by themselves won't help you rank on anything. In many cases, linking will also play an important part.
