Hi, are there any competitors to Wordtracker? BEfore I spend $270 I'd like to shop around..

Any info and opinions are appreciated.

Thanks

WordTracker is definitely worth the money. If you don't want to spend it right away, there are multiple sources that you can use that will eventually give you similar detail. The difference is that #*$! makes it easy to collect from all sources.

If you can justify the price, it is worth it. If not, I can suggest a dozen other places to find results

Guru - do you find the data useful, bearing in mind they only use DogPile and Metacrawler for gaining info? Would seem a big extrapolation if you are not taking in Google, Yahoo, MSN etc.?

For someone in the UK, there is also no facility for 'UK' or other country searches.

My focus is primarily 'organic' rather than PFC searches, so I would be interested in any alternatives which take in the above.

Thanks

Yes, the data is definitely good as a whole. The reason is because they collect their statistics from many random sources and a good average is met that way.

Its true strengths are the suggestions. Keep in mind that it is like a thesaurus/dictionary all in one that can build massive lists and suggest many un thought of keywords. I personally do not many of the features but some is worth its weight if you can justify it.

I would say to give the free trial a shot, or possibly just get a day or week. From there you will know if it is what you are looking for.
