So suppose I have a site dedicated to Wire Widgits. I look up keywords and see that "widgits" gets around 200k/month and "wire widgits" gets around 20k/month. Is it feasible for both on the same doorway page? I'm thinking it is. Then suppose you decide to throw out appearance. Let the user see what they will see. Which is better 1. One KW phrase Metatag.."wire widgits" with the phrase "wire widgits" appearing on the page 5 or 6 times (and ONLY that phrase). -or- 2. A few individual KWs listed in Meta KW tag. And a short paragraph consisting mostly of the individual KWs? Right now I'm considering actually putting #1 into practice to see what happpens. Was wondering what the consensus is out there?

I think going the route of pure content will always pay off. Better to go for the full paragraph of content both for the se's and users. You can nail an algo rarely with a bare page of loaded 10-20 kw's, but it is rare to do so.
