You can always tap into the Overture French Suggestion tool. That is my only guess.

Like a top 100 list of the most popular searches for the month? I know that for English, word tracker puts out updated short term, and long term lists.
I am not certain about in French, yet I am sure these lists are very similar in words including celebrity names, music, trends, etc etc.
