Is it OK to have 14 words in <title>

I just want to use all power of the tag. Is there any penalty for 12-14 words in <title>?
I have now 6-10 words.

There is no penalty, flea.

However, there is some discussion as to whether a short or long title is more effective. When you have some time, check out this thread -
