If you have a Real Name, does this help to boost your GOOGLE Rankings on all Kewords related to your website?

I don't believe so -

In our case,Realnames "keyword" points to www."keyword".co.uk but a search on Google.com for "keyword" and the above site is #4, our corresponding www."keyword".com site is #1.

Does that make sense?

What I mean is that GOOGLE uses Real Names in their algorithm. I just wanted to know what impact a Real Name has on a websites listings.
