Hi sbh,

Spiders cannot read Flash, make sure you have some HTML links from the home page to the rest of the site. If you have a solid color background on the homepage, you could make it a frameset. You could feed the noframe erea with structured text using your most important keywords that explains what the site is about. Use as links the words that describe the best the page it will link to.

I agree with MacGuru,

You will have to find a way to put the Flash on the backburner.....in my opinion, it is either SEO or high ned design.

You can always have a high end site that uses tons of images and Flash that is optimized, but I don't think that it will ever be as effective.

SBH,

Do you have to use the Flash as the intro?

Why don't you have a static intro page that gives the user the option of seeing the Flash intro or entering the site. This will appeal to the SEO and usability aspect

There are many ways to use Flash and still use seo techniques. Don't be discouraged from using Flash at all but do keep in mind that human editors can be impatient...keep your intro file sizes small.
