Hey guys,
I am a simple website designer and a fairly well-rounded search engine optimizer. A quick question for you guys. I have had this domain name for a couple of years just to have it. Then I decided to make the most out of it and made a website. What happened before I posted to site it was already indexed into Google. I have sent them sitemaps and so on. But still nothing. Will this all update once there crawler comes across my site again and all my new pages will be indexed?

wholesalerakes,

You may have to wait several months to get your new content indexed, depending on the current PageRank of your site's pages, and the pages that link to those pages.

You can improve this by getting high-ranking, relevant pages to link *to* your pages -- Spiders will follow those links and find your new pages.

Although we have come to expect 'instant results' when searching, getting new pages indexed is certainly not instant, and can takes several months on low-ranking sites.
