Adding a list of misspelled keywords on a page

is that considered spamming or black hat?

If there is a widget with a name (generic, not trademarked) that is commonly mispelled, and I decided to list 8-15 mispelled variations of the name at the bottom of a particular page seperated by commas (widgt, wigdet, witdget, wiget), will the SE's consider this a form of spamming and penalize my site? Or should I instead create five different pages, each page with ONLY the one mispelling somewhere in the title and description?

Google does consider misspelled words as a black hat and you might go out of index. They probably use statistical analyzers, soundex and levenstains distance so they easily detect misspelled words. I think that at the moment if you have just few (less than 4% AND less than 5 words) mispelled words on the page it is OK, but large amount of mispelled words will get you deindex for sure.

You might try to create 100 pages, each with some variants of mispelled words, but I won't count of that as the long terms strategy.
