How can I check "back links" of a Blog?

I noticed that when I check incoming/back links of a Blog using different 'link popularity' tools, it always results in 0 number of sites linking to that particular Blog I am checking?

For example, a site ranking on the 1st page of MSN Search for a highly competitive keyword shows 0 back links!?

Anyone has an explanation for this or how I can check back links for a Blog?

Thanks so much!

Technorati checks this, and they're pretty good.

Just click on Search, then do a "Website URL Search"

If no results, consider the possibility that no blogs link there. Or, other option, that no blogs that amount to anything link there.

Or you can just treat it the same as any other web site (which it is), and give it a shot on Yahoo.

linkdomain:example.com -site:example.com
