We use ISAPI rewrite to create search friendly urls. However, the homepage resolves to www.example.com/site/home instead of www.example.com/default.htm.
Is this something that SE's frown upon?

Is there a particular reason why you are wanting to put your root level home page 2 levels below the root? Couldn't it just be www.example.com? Why the redirect 2 levels down?
