Hi,

My article search engine referrals are much much higher than my forum posts and I very confident that there should be such a difference.

One possible factor is that most of my forum posts seem to be in the supplimental index (in the past).

i just did a site:example.com on Google and for some reason only 8 results are displaying (out of over 50K).

what things should I be looking at here?

My assumption would be that good articles rank much better than forum posts and are more permanent, which would make them attract more traffic and send more traffic through your link. I run a fairly large site which accepts articles and heard last week that one of our auhors gets 50% of his traffic from people who read his articles on my site and then click through to his site.
