Dear All,

I justt happened to visit few freelancing websites and browsed SEO projects and biddings there in. SEOs are providing biddings like $35-$1500 bids with TOP Results in Google, Yahoo, MSN with guarantee, in just 15-20, 30, 60 days.

Is this possible?

Search engines take their own time to crawl, include, and update their database. So, how can one guarantee results in such a time.

Is this legal?

Please provide your insight.

Thanks

Let the buyer beware -- but yes, I assume it's legal as long as they give a refund when they don't deliver. Definitely read the fine print -- top results for what search terms, exactly? There's where the catch usually lies.

Read the fine print also. A while back some outfit called our store manager promising to "get our site on the first page of Google". (we already are, for nearly all relevant search terms, but that is another story).

He was all hot to sign up with them for something like $400 a month. I did some checking... and what they did was get Google ads to show up on the first page..

Well, DUH!

They would do what they said they would, get the site on the first page!
