Hi,
I am looking at alexa and trying to make business sense of websites who have typically these kind of ranking ( 300,000th ).
How many visitors does it means a month?Is there a corelation between alexa rank and # of visitors.

Also the cost of having such a website is probably is domain renewal($8) + hosting($50) = $58 appx.
I am excluding all the work behind it for the sake of simplicity.

so now to get my cost back I have to atleast make $58 from this website.

All you gurus with this kind of ranking how likely is it?
I know it depends on the keyword website is developed on and it cannot be "chicago lawyers" or "refinance mortgage or mesolitheoma or whatever high paid ones all the time.

I've got big sites that make little, little sites that make more than little, and every other combo you could think of. All you need is enough traffic to convert and make money. Variables make or break it.

Get a decent commission on a $10K sale, once or twice a year, and that site's a winner.
