let's say I sell paintings, specifically watercolors, oils and pastels.
Now if I had three main pages, being watercolors, oils and pastels
I would want to have each of those link back to the home page
Then, on each watercolor page, let's say I had 20 of those watercolors pages, I would link each of those 20 back to the main water color page , but should I also link each of those back to the oils page and the pastels page?
Thank you
but should I also link each of those back to the oils page and the pastels page?
Some people do things like that, linking every page to every other page, but imho it's better to have it like a tree. Have a link to the home page (index.htm) on every page, but for all the water-colour subpages, just link back to the main water-colour page. That's what I do and it seems to work quite well. In my case (in the abstract, of course, and these are purely hypothetical examples), it's caving notes, maps, guidance, etc, rather than painting or poetry. You can shift Google PR more effectively that way too.
Have you considered adding an egg tempera page? It lasts forever :-)
