1 i select some keywords and write the copy related to these keywords. how long should i update the copy or just let it be.
update the copy as soon that it no longer holds valid/up to date information. You can also update it if you create a related new page to make the new page found by search engines quickly.
2 i exchange links with other sites starting from some link change site. because my site is a new one, so its pagerank is 0 and just a little sites want to exchange link with us. how can i do to get more high quality links. but i have no more money for buying them.
Try free online directories. Have you submitted it to DMOZ? Try to find the best category for your site (not the one with the higher Google PR that could list it) - it should make you get listed quicker.

3 i plan to post my site in some famous forum. it is okay and useful? i am not clear, and i also don't know which forum i should go.
the only comment/advice I could have is try not to spam the forums or you might get ban from them.
