and I updated my meta tags this morning and added a bot text file how long will it take to update from 1 to all the search engines i'm on.

As of now i know i'm on google, yahoo, altavista, and AOL.

It really depends on what each SE thinks of your site and how often it wants to come and spider it.

I don't know the exact workings of how they judge this, but we have quite a few sites on our books - Some are only spidered every 1-2 weeks by certain SE's, yet the same SE's spider some of our other sites every day.

I guess adding more pages will give the spiders more reason to come to your site and therefore will be more likely to return more frequently.

Yep the basic formula hasn't changed much in a long while. Add pages, add links.

Timing for success depends on the category, the quality of your site, and the quality and amount of your backlinks.

Now the thing that scares me is my site uses frames "they click on link on left and appears in text box in middle" is well organized but all i could get out of my site is splash page / index/ and forums or no?

Also in my log i know what a googlebot looks like (googlebot.com) or whatever but do any of you know what the other bots will look like?
