Can i use the <h1></h1> tag and skip the <h2> to <h5> tags and use <h6>?

Hey guys:)

Q.1. Is it ok to use the <h1></h1> tag once on the page and *skip* the <h2></h2>,<h3></h3>,<h4></h4>,and <h5></h5> tags and use *only* the <h6></h6> tag later in the page a few times?

Q.2. Will i get penalized for doing this?

Like this:

<h1>Widget</h1>

<p>
...blah blah blah...
....................
.....................
.....page content......</p>

<h6>more about widgets</h6>

.....
<h6>xyz</h6>

......etc...

<h6>abc</h6>

I've seen a site do this and i wanted to do this aswell.

Q. Is it ok to do and not get penalized?

I vote no - you won't get penalized.

May not be "optimized", whatever that is, but I doubt you'd be penalized.
