Hello all.
My competitors are using in my view un-ethical SEO techniques, such as: Doorway pages / hidden text

Many of them are placing these pages on “free web hosts”
Does anyone think I should hit them back?
One possible solution is to copy their “doorway pages” and re-host them on these free servers (with the same ip) and point a few links to them so they will be penalised for duplicate content.

Please help. I’m starting to wonder what to do…
I’m not a cheater I believe my ethics are good, but when my competitors cheat why should I stay clean?

Everyone say it’s only a matter of time before they get caught...
Well Five years is quiet some time plus a lot of revenue they have “cheated”!

I see no problem with just reporting them to Google. There was a competitor in my niche doing the same thing and, about a week after I reported them, they were gone for good.

It's hard enough to get good rankings without having to compete against unscrupulous people. And, if they're unscrupulous when it comes to getting good ranking, they probably cut corners with their customers as well.
