Q.1. I am designing a site and was wondering if i could use the <h6></h6> tag *before* i use the <h1></h1> tag?
*I'm useing the <h6></h6> tag in the navigation links as a
<h6></h6> tag for a tag to start/list each list of links.
>>Then later i am using the <h1></h1> tag to describe the page content. I'm useing the <h1></h1> tag in the content area because the <h1></h1> tag has more weight than the <h6> tag. Also i am only useing the <h1></h1> *only once* for the entire page.
Q.1.Is it ok to list the <h6></h6> tag first in the links and then use the <h1></h1> tag for the page content?
Q.2. Does it matter (order of <h1>,<h2>...)or will i get penalized for doing this?
Not sure if this matters to the engines.
For example:
<h6>Green Widgets</h6>
<li><a href="xyz.html">xyzwidget</a></li>
<li><a href="xyz.html">xyzwidget</a></li>
<h6>Blue Widgets</h6>
<li><a href="xyz.html">xyzwidget</a></li>
<h6>Red Widgets</h6>
<li><a href="xyz.html">xyzwidget</a></li>
>>Then at the begining of page content:
<h1>Green Widgets for everyone</h1>
etc...
