Hi guys.

I am in the auto market and would like to get another 100 unique visitors aday.

What is the cheaper way of doing this without adwords and overture.

gather a multitude of incoming links from a variety of sources.

This is what I do for my clients-

1. Decide few targetted phrases.(upto 25 to start with)

2. Add unique Content/articles to it. It is not that a costly affair provided you get the right guy. (ALways check the uniqueness of the content by google check)

3. Do not link these pages from JUST sitemap/resource page/ one link from one of the page, But highlight the latest article on the homepage and also provide a link to these articles from the relavent pages (opening in a new window).

This works well if you have good Link popularity otherwise a wise advice is to work on link popularity to start with for few days and then do it paralelly & regularly.

To get huge amount of traffic, search engine submission is the best option. To do that Get the directory listings first.
There are numerous directories( Dmoz, Yahoo, Zeal) etc which one can submit a site to. You can try some of the paid options of URL inclusion if your budget permits it
( business.com, yahoo.com etc) Then there are multiple, regional & topical directories which one can look for & get the site submitted to.

Article submision is another option. write articles & columns on your subject matter of expertise(if you can otherwise hire one expert). These articles should be genuine content which adds value to the reader & are not just under cover publicity campaigns for your product or service. Once these articles are created include your bio
( obviously with your hyperlink into it- this is great place to control your anchor text so be judicious ) & submit that article to various online resources & content providers.
