Keywords strategically placed on page to improve search engine ranking

Keywords placed on web page that are small and similar to background colour

Hi

I have recently designed a website in a very competitive market, therefore I researched my main rivals/competitors to see how and why they did so well in the various search engines.

One idea that I "borrowed/stole/used" was the use of many keywords on the homepage that were NOT white on white but very similar in colour to the page background and about 8pt sized font and therefore hardly noticeable to the user but noticeable to the search engines.

I have had success with this but I would like to know if this is acceptable or if it would get me blacklisted from the various search engines?

I think I may have read that you could do this in SearchEngineWorld but I'm not too sure.

I would be interested in people's opinion and advice on this matter.

Regards

Steve

Yes! Don't do it. You may get away with it for a while but they will catch and you WILL get banned.

Hi Steve

This is unethical in SEO and its better to not use such schemes else the search engine might bann your site.
