What's the right way to increasing your website size? If you have more pages your actual PR will spread out on those what gives you less PR as long as your amount of pages grow.

Should you worry about that or just keep making new pages no matter how many inbound links from external sites you have?

If you have TBPR of 5 on your home page and it's the only page, then you add 10,000 new pages the home page TBPR will still be 5.

The amount of PR passed to the other pages will be reduced because of the number of pages and links involved.

If you break the amount of links down to a handful of categories (let's say 10) than each of those category pages should get a TBPR of 4.
The further deeper linking will reduce the TBPR another notch.

You can get deep links to these category pages from other sites or even deep links to the individual pages to increase their TBPR if it makes you more comfortable.

I see many pages in the #1 spots that have a TBPR of 1 or 2. The home pages of these sites do have a higher TBPR value.

I un-installed the toolbar over a year ago and left the green pixel chasing to others. I go for good ranking and not TBPR as they are 2 different things that may or may not be related.

So from your point of view adding more related content and linking from home page is good even if your PR is not so good.
I also noticed PR2 sites ranking #1, I'm trying to make my mind about going for more content or to care about PR...

That's a no-brainer - more content is always good as it always (without exception) means more traffic to your site.

And it's all about traffic.

The page content is 100% within your control.
The page's PR is, 1% (or less) within your control.
So, your time is better spent where?
