I assume if you target a set of specific keyphrases you must be very happy if your page reaches a good position for the intended keyprase.

So when you try to cover a set of keyprases, do you build a special page for each?

Some sites has main pages but I guess you can't just cover several keyprases at once with just your "main" page.

So what do you seo experts say?

Of course.

Some sites has main pages but I guess you can't just cover several keyprases at once with just your "main" page

I think you talk about the problem to concentrate the keyphrase sets for the home page,right?

If yes,the solution are:

a) Ignore your home/main page.Optimize the relevant pages and let the visitors to find your site trough them.

b)Optimize home/main page for a selection of the most popular terms among the ones used to build the relevant pages.

Yes, that was what I meant. So even if your main page doesn't rank but it has the real important info to sell your product to users, they will find you for other irrelevant pages form sales point of view but, well targeted keys...

Is that what you mean right?
