I have a question about framed sites. I know that Search Engines do not like frame sites, BUT is it possible to still work on optimization of a frame site if I implement this tag:

<noframes><body>allcontenthere</body></noframes>?

I know it would be best to drop the frames all together but does anyone know if this is a good way to get around that?

Hi, ciberia70 and Welcome to Webmasterworld [webmasterworld.com]. I'm not an expert on how to optimize a framed site since I've never worked with one. But I believe you're correct that using the <noframes> will help. I think the other problem with a framed site has to do with linking. Certainly no one can link to any of your deep content within the site and that can limit the amount of incoming links. Maybe someone else with experience working with frames can chime in...
