Hello, I don't mind being framed just as long as it doesn't hurt me.

Well, About.com's is framing two of my pages within different sections of their site. It never occured to me to check into any of this until I started reading that other thread regarding recent Google Woes.

Anyhow, is this something to be awfully concerned with? or SHOULD I contact the individual folks who run each of those sections over there?

Be quiet.Framing doesn't hurt you.SE spiders are set to ignore these issues since a webmaster (as your case shows)cannot have the control on the inbound/frame links.

Add the following to the head section of your pages:

<script type="text/javascript">if (top!= self) top.location.replace(self.location.href);</script>

That will get your users out of the frameset and display your page in full. Then profit from the link!

Thanks folks for the suggestions.

Funny how it takes such problems with Google to get me off my butt and check things I'd probably never check otherwise.

'best regards,

:-)
