Hi everyone:)

I have a few questions i hope you can help me out with.
Q.1. I was wondering, there is someone that is selling traffic for websites. He states that for a fee he will get traffic to me through "redirects" or something related to "redirecting traffic" through
"doorways" or "doorway passages". Not sure.

Q. Would you know if this is legal? Would he get my site banned off of any engine? He has a disclaimer that states that he is not responsible for what
widgetblah engine does to the site.

I would like to use this service but not if it's illegal and gets me banned.

Q.2. Any of you use software that automatically generates traffic? It is the type that allows you to use the "click" for traffic without having to actually sit all day clickinging for traffic. It does this for you allowing you to generate traffic to your site.

Google's words not mine ...

Avoid "doorway" pages created just for search engines, or other "cookie cutter" approaches such as affiliate programs with little or no original content.

BeeDee has it right, but I wanna add something.

Added traffic thru redirects? That's the screamer!

The 'service' takes YOUR money for introducing you to
the scum that
put up 302 'temporary' redirects to your pages!

Most people here feel very victimized when this happens.
The scam is they are going to CHARGE you for this disservice!

The 302 redirect is wanted so some other site can benefit
from youre content, credited to THEIR pages, for the sake of SERPS
positions and any resulting income from ads.

Also watch out for anyone selling flying lessons in the middle
of the Golden Gate Bridge. They inevitably want cash up front. - Larry
