Looking for SEO Expert Advice

I am currently in development of a very interesting website which I am sure will be massive by the end of the year.

What I need is some advice on how to make the site as friendly as possible to google and how to get top 5 placings for a lot of keywords, all key words are
regional specific so should not be majorly popular.

The Site has a directory format and is written is ASP.Net and runs on MS SQL. I have read articles on ISAPI ReWrite which seems useful but is it nescessary has google not improved its spidering of dynamic sites.

Any advice would be gratefully appreciated

Top 5 listings for lots of keywords? You don't want much! ;) Seriously though - what you are asking is what most people here will charge lots of money for!

I'm sure most will help you out with specific queries about x, y or z but if you're looking for an all encompassing strategy either start reading or hire a professional SEO! ;)
