One of my sites is just dead in the water so I've decided to kill it. But it's a PR3 site and I'm wondering if there's anything I can do to carry over that PR to a new site?

The only thing you can do is convince the people linking to it to change there links.

pr3 =PR3 = Page Rank 3
It's shown (roughly) via the googletoolbar and/or via extensions which mimic the toolbar for firefox (maybe other browsers as well, but I don't know).

Roughly means it's a sliding scale but in the toolbars the Page Rank must rounded off. So while the actual PR can range from 0.000000000 to 10.0, the toolbar is gonna show it simply as a single integer,1,2,3 and so on.

To check your own, install a toolbar capable of showing the toolbar version of PR.

Put a free directory on there and let people submit to it freely. Better than dead completely :)
