is a hard choice between Google vs Yahoo/MSN?

I have been told that when it comes to ranking top in the SERPs that you can only SEO organically to get to the top of Google

or Yahoo/MSN

But not both, Is this true?

Either way, why is this or isn't the case?

I have a site that is #1 in G & Y and #2 in the new MSN.

Yes it is certainly possible.

What Patrick said.

To achieve it, you must pay attention to all aspects of SEO, not just some, and you must avoid all those nasty little little filters, lest you become #1 on one SE and #337 on another. ;-)

Newby question - SEO organically?

How do you optimize search engines organically? I don't understand the term.

Thanks!

As far as I understand organically means you are doing it in the SERPS as opposed to paid listings (PPC Pay-Per-Click).

Please breifly summarise the entire aspects of SEO.

Heh, heh. Sure, no problem.

Oh, wait...now that I think about it, I don't have two years of free time to devote to this. ;-)

Try starting here instead: [webmasterworld.com...]

P.S. Y! and MSN no longer the same. I'm afraid you've got three to learn now, not two.
