Anything wrong with buying a domain and waiting for half a year before putting the real site up.

I am wanting to do this so that the site can get cached by the SEs and get the PR up. I will put some dummy info and etc that is related to my keywords. Will it hurt the new site in anyway in terms of good rankings. Please advise. TQ!

Put a few links to the main page from different domains on different hosts if possible and a few links to internal pages with product descriptions etc. etc. and you will get a good start

ive had this issue a few times and since im convinced google sandboxes sites - i suggest you get a few sites to link into it and load it up with a few key word rich pages and on a weekly or mothly basis add some content.

that way at least you dont loose 6 months being stuck in a sand box as i have
