Ok first off I wanted to say hey and this is a good forum. I've been reading it for a few months off and on but never posted.

I have until recently only worked with one main site. It dose a pretty fair share of SE traffic from several different search engines to the tune of about 4k a day on 2 pages. I have the basics down pretty well and am the top listing on my picked keywords for this site.

I'm now going to focus more of my energy into the SE game because I can see that the traffic is fun stuff. So not to bore you with my life's story I'll get to the questions.

Since my experience is with only one site, my question is as follows. I'm building my own little empire of sites dedicated to pulling as much SE traffic as possible, roughly how many of my own domains is it safe to interlink with each other before I have to worry about being banned?

Currently I have one server with 7 IP's. Am I safe linking sites on these different IP's together (roughly 4 domains on each IP). I'm trying to keep the sites in their own groups in case a domain or group gets banned I want the others to be somewhat isolated.

So lets say the four domains on one IP are A,B,C and D. Is it safe to link all the A's across each IP to each other and then the C's to the C's and so on? Or will the spiders see they are all the same class C's and not count the links?

I'm just looking for some rough guidance here and for any decant rule of thumb on interlinking my own sites.

Thanks

manute

as long as you're not spamming you don't have to be afraid of being banned at all.
the only thing that could happen if you're interlinking too much is that the links will be ignored.
