I have a site which uses <noscript> tag for hidden text.
What kind of hidden text are you referring to?
18.3.1 The NOSCRIPT element [w3.org]
One of them is using hidden text and another is using hidden links with help of <noscript> tag.
Based on the specification...
The NOSCRIPT element allows authors to provide alternate content when a script is not executed. The content of a NOSCRIPT element should only be rendered by a script-aware user agent.
Yes, certain useragents will see what is within the
<noscript> element. Now, the question would be... "How much weight is assigned to content within that area?" I'm not sure as I only use them based on the specification. A short description of the resource along with a link when applicable.
The next question would be... "How competitive is your industry?" Would what you are doing pass human review? If not, is it worth the risk for any minor added benefit that might be there? You know how competitors can be these days. ;)
The text contains lots of stuffed keywords which is considered as a spam still i am getting good rankings over google and other search engines
This only means that search engines are not able to index the text within the <noscript>
Or is there any other reason?
