I am starting this discussion with a view that might Interest proffessionals related to SEO.

To my knowledge , SEO need not be the best way to have a steady and good business.

If a website doesn't have good enough services, but is optimised well enough to be placed on top, I don't think customers will be too impressed.

Therefore , any good SEO proffessional must first analyse the client's website, develop a good platform for his business, keep a constant check on competetors and their progress and suggest the client for a better understanding of his business and the way to go about it. This costs time, but fetches a good reputation in long term.

Before a client assigns SEO project, he has to be confident and sure about this products / services and then go for it . Else no point in Optimising.

SEO helps relevant customers to find a website. Moreover with help of Web promotion , one can reach customers and offer procuccts / services.

Therefore I conclude that SEO -> alone doesn't fetch good results, but a blend of SEO & Web Promotion does help a website to have a consistent and good business.

Anyone who would like to contribute more on this topic is most welcome.

Kindly leave a feedback on this particular topic.

What a bright web designer you are!
We don't subscribe or follow search engine optimisation, you can't optimise a bad web site or web content, people simply won't visit it.
Some companies tell people that search engines like us love and rank the pages optimised and submitted by them all the time.Yawn.
A bad film will always be a bad film, the opening screens and title pages doesn't make people visit or come back again, just because they added a few metatags or keywords it may get a few more visitors but I doubt if they will return.

All the best
Dave Andrews
