Duplicate Detection

Which SEs can and can't (or don't)

AltaVista seems to be the only major engine I see that does a good job of detecting and removing duplicate content. Any others?

In another thread Brett stated that Google doesn't have a good system of duplicate detection.
Northern Light doesn't.
Anyone know about Fast? Excite?
Inktomi seems to have a pretty good system in place, but not as good as AV's.
Anything else?

I hope not.

I have 3 mirror sites [I was testing stability], and I think I accidently submitted 2 of the same to google and altavista..

I think i better go change one to a redirect..
