I am creating meta tags for my site and as far as I know these are the rules: Use the word three times in the desciption tag:
Example:
Blue widget, red widget, orange widget.
But is it 'illegal' to then put:
Blue widget(s), red widgets, orange widgets.

Thanks for your help,
Tamara

designmaster, You should use keyword in the first phrase (before the first dot or other symbols on ending). If you do it Google will take you description as a snippet. So your link will be more clickable.
Quantity of keyword in the description has no meaning.

Is there a program that does this for Google?

genius36, what kind of program do you mean. We are talking about meta tag "description" It's a part of your page :) What should the program do?

You mean a meta-tag generator? There are loads of them around. A comprehensive free online one is here [town-mall.net] (not mine).

Hope that helps :)
