One SEO company contacted me to optimize our website and quote £500 for 100 pages.

I could'nt belive & thought its a good bargain...........and ordered for that they have sent me the pages with the different targetted keywords with SAME Content on each page.

Can anybody suggest me what should i do now? Will it make my website ban from google?

Your suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks

Have you paid them the full amount? Have you been given 100 pages of machine generated 'garbage'?

I would check your contract very carefully to see what you have paid for has been delivered.

Sounds like you have been given a raw deal. Either spend time here learning SEO or employ the services of someone who really knows what they are talking about. Ask for references first!

<edit - I would remove all of the new pages too, and replace with your old site for now.>

I talked to their references , they were happy with their service that's why i decided to go ahead with it.

Will it make any difference to our SERPS (positive or negative)?

Is it better to include those pages with slight changes or not?

thanks for your help

I would not add the pages if they are full of duplicate content - IF this is a site you care about and want to be around long term. All I can say is 100 pages for 500 pounds is a ridiculously low number for any type of SEO that would have an ounce of quality. There is no quality SEO doing optimization for 5 bucks a page. Just my two cents.

They probably generated these pages with one of those scripts that you can buy in the $70 to $150 range. I believe they are in the "bomb" family of softwares. Either way, google has caught on to many of these scripts and has eliminated their weight in the results.
I would possibly begin by posting maybe ten of them with a link from your homepage and see if they get spidered and wait for the pages to come up in the search results. If this happens, then you know the pages are winners and then you can add them slowly.
Depending on their quality, content, and linking, it is either a steal at $5 or they are generated pages that the person made in minutes. If the content is exactly the same, then you are asking for trouble. This was the thing to do years back but not anymore.

There is something out that has gone a step ahead of this software that not only generates pages with keywords, but even dumps in tons of RSS feeds. Atleast this script changes with the RSS feed and the spider see's new content. Even this script is loosing its weight fast with google though.
I'd be interested to see the pages.
