Dear Friends,

I am watching ranking for some of my websites in all three major search engine. If a site is ranked good in Google the same is not positioned or not positioned at all in Yahoo and MSN and Vice Versa.

About Google, I am watching results for some of my websites for which I am waiting to see good results. While searching I found many top positioned website with very low PR without much Back Links from other sites, Back Links as shown was only within site with fewer from other sites. But my sites have much more Backward Links than the top positioned site. My delima is how can it be judged that only Back Links matter for better positioning.

And about Yahoo, a site which is indexing and ranking is suddenly disappeared and home page doesnt seem to be in Data base, could anyone suggest me?

And about MSN, site is not updated at all. Title, Description is the same even after changing it since a month back.

Anyone who can you guide me with intersting tips?

With regards

Welcome to both of you!

jkappu-

Incoming links from high page rank sites help tremendously in positioning on Google. Yahoo is still developing their PR equivilant so their results are probably a little more influanced by onsite stuff.

wizardprincess-

Google doesn't dance anymore. The last dance was last year. It's moved to a rolling update.

Dear Friends,

Thanks for your reply,

I do agree for your suggestion, I have followed all necessary and standard rules of optmization for my sites. As per your comment I will be waiting for the result for some more days.

And about Incoming Links from high PR sites, yes ofcourse all my sites has incoming links from high PR sites. But dont you feel a incoming link from a site with PR 2 and PR 3 may become PR 5 or 6 as the day progress? What do you feel?

And one more aspect I observed yesterday with Google is, a site on top position has links within site and from a single site with noth much external links. But my site has both internal and external links still no result. Do you feel this has any impact on positioning?
