I found a site that is leading in a given keyword, and most keywords actually.

The technique:

It has a paragraph of text, and it has the keyword throughout the text. It then has a bunch of links on the bottom (which are all targetted keywords). When you click on the link, it replaces the text with the anchor text you just clicked on.

So it basically turns 1 page of legitamte copy into about 30 or so. At it seems to be doing very well on google.

Is this easily banned? Will having a page like this destroy onces entire site if/when caught?

Sites like this ..They've existed for years...I must have hit about 10 over the weekend while I was looking for an item on BBQ's...
apparently "g" likes them ...

Sounds like the site is still in the index to me...

But think about this - how will a technique like that benefit the users of a site?
