I have very good rankings on google But i am not happy with my hosting company. Therefore i want to switch to a new hosting company servers. But i am worried that changing the server (ofcourse IP will change too). Will changing my hosting company (NOT MY DOMAIN NAME!) effect my rankings on google or any other SE?

You should not have any problems, I to have switched web host before and never seen any thing change in the search engine results (I had a number one ranking).

If the IP belongs to a different country then what your potential traffic is targetted to come from, or where your previous IP was from, you may experience a slight change in the rankings for that country's division of a search engine.

However, this only applies to a search engine which supports Geo-Targetting and uses it to alter its search results (ie. Google).

Also watch out for the small delay in DNS propagation - these days it seems to be very quick. If your site is off the air (to Googlebot) for a day or two, there is the tiniest possibility of losing rank, but most people find no such problem.

make sure you retain your old site for a few weeks after your move. then check the old site to see if it's still getting traffic. when the traffic stops...switch it off.
