Newbie Needs advice

My site is [snip].

It is a forum dedicated to [snip] and [snip].

What im trying to figure out is how to improve my placement. Im very new at this - so please help me get started....

Here are some tips ----

Try to use text more than images

Try to get at least 5% density with whatever keyword you are trying to rank high for.

Get links from sites that are related to your site and make sure your keyword is in the link text.

Have your keyword in the title, description meta tag, heading, bold text and in the keyword meta tag.
