META Tags Explained

Can someone do the explaining?

hi all,

shortly will be puttin my new site up , but i am trying to do the metas to help in its searchablilty.

q1. do i need them - what engines use them
q2. if not , what should i be doing to get up the search ladder.

i know these are incredibly open ended questions, but any help would be much appreciated.

Do a search in Google for "meta tags explained" there are several articles that will assist you. You can also search the forums as well.

Yes, you do need meta tags now that Yahoo! is back and uses them. Sad day. I hate them.
