I have a two keyword phrase I am trying to target. The problem is the two keywords are part of a much more competitive 3 keyword phrase. Example:

my 2 keyword phrase: cabbage patch
more competitive 3 keyword phrase: cabbage patch dolls

No these aren't the real words but are good example of my sitution. The cabbage patch dolls is a much more competitive and searched for term with lots of corporate big guys who have more money/resources to throw at this. The really wierd thing is how the two word phrase is in the three word phrase it is contextually completely unrelated. Suggestions?

Hello,

i'm kind of new to this promotion thingy, and i just didn't get your problem.

from what i read, the two words you target have a diferent meaning alone. so, people searching for those words in another context will also get your web, is that it?

If that is it, well, you'll get some (maybe a lot) of unwanted trafic. Is that a problem?
Or else, why just not make the target for the 3 words, if you know people are searching for "cabbage patch dolls"?
Or am i putting my foot on it major style? 8)

cheers

My problem is the "cabbage patch dolls" are dominating the "cabbage patch" SERP's.
