Hi,

I submitted my site to around ten search engines around 3 months ago. If I enter the whole url the website is found but if I search using relevant keywords I can't find my site at all.

Is there any way I can find out:

> Which search engines have indexed my website?
> What index score I have on these search engines?

Thanks

Is your site optimised? Do you have any incoming links?

Typing your URL into the search engines will tell you if you have been indexed or not.

Please explain what you mean by being optimised. I have all meta tags that are needed.

The site is displayed when I enter the url although it obviously has a very low rating. I have no inward links to my site at all.

Have you put your keywords in the title, in the body of the webpage, in the H1 tags? You need to do this, in a way that makes sense to users of course :)

You must have incoming links or your ranking will remain low.

You are going to need a lot more than meta-tags for a site to be optimized. You are going to need to look at a lot of other things. Follow the library link at the top of this and other sections. You are going to need to read a lot of different posts for it to all to come together.
