I have been in business on the web for several years. Recently, I have been using Overture.com for my Search Engine needs. It is killing me! I am new at this game. How do I get in the top 30 with out paying so much every month?

You read a lot. Spend some time her on Webmasterworld, you will find the answers you need. Take a look iun the library, you will find a wealth of knowledge.
After some days of reading, start asking. A few days invested hear, vil save yau tons of money quickly.

we advertise thru Overture as well... there's no way around it. To be on top means you pay the top amount, but I must say... it's worth it. Give yourself a budget.. for a month stay on top then go down and repeat. Your revenue should go up and this means you'll be able to stay on top for a longer period of time and revenue will continue to grow and what not... of course once you receive the traffic, it's your job to convince people to buy from you.
